Connie Merritt Endowed Student Scholarship
This scholarship was created in memory of Connie’s late husband, Lynne Donald Hughes, who was a graduate of Long Beach State University.
Criteria
- Major in the School of Nursing
- Undergraduate
- Must be a four-year Long Beach State student (no transfer students)
- Incoming senior
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
- Must demonstrate financial and fiscal responsibility while enrolled at LBSU
- Must provide an essay on “what the student sees as his or her future in nursing”
