Dr. Sumie Imada Student Teaching Endowed Scholarship

As a retired teacher and administrator, Dr. Sumie Imada established this scholarship to support a future elementary school teacher who is in the Multiple Subject Credential Program or UTEACH Program at California State University, Long Beach.

Criteria:

  • Must be a student in the MSCP or UTEACH Program
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Preference to single-parents
  • Preference to candidates that attended high school in Paramount, Downey, Bellflower or Torrance
  • Student Teaching
