The Beck Family Secondary Education Scholarship

The scholarship will support secondary education credential students in a LOTE (Languages other than English) Credential or Social Science Credential program. Carol Beck taught Spanish and US History for 34 years primarily in the Los Alamitos School District. Carol created this scholarship to foster and promote language and cultural awareness and support students in her alma mater.

Criteria:

  • Financial Need based;
  • LOTE Credential or Social Science Credential;
  • Student has already earned a bachelor’s degree;
  • Currently working with students.
