Alpha Delta Kappa - Zeta Chapter - Judith Kaho
Judith Kaho always wanted to be a teacher because of the wonderful women and men who were her teachers. Judith received her diploma in 1971 from California State Long Beach as the first college graduate in her family. Although Judith was a classroom aide in the 1970’s, it wasn’t until much later that she returned to CSULB to get her teaching credential, where she was the oldest member of her student teaching group. Judith went on to work for 27 years in the Long Beach Unified School District, teaching 2nd and 4th grades at several different schools and touching the lives of many students.
Judith and her family appreciate being alumni of CSULB. Her sons both graduated from the university as did her daughter-in-law, who is currently teaching, and her granddaughter, who is enrolled in teacher education classes.
Judith has been a loyal member of Alpha Delta Kappa Zeta Chapter for 25 years, holding several leadership positions. Judith’s is the first face one sees at the registration table at our annual Scholarship Tea, and her fellow ADK Zeta Chapter members are proud to honor her with this scholarship in her name.
The College of Education (CED) expresses gratitude to all scholarship donors who continue to enhance the quality of education students experience at CSULB.
