HR Advisory Board Scholarship

In 2014, the advisory board of the Management & Human Resource Management department wanted to create a scholarship. Working with the CSULB 49er Foundation, they created this scholarship with a goal of supporting students that are pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management.

Criteria:

  • Be an undergraduate HRM major or HRM minor;
  • Be a current part-time or full-time student
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better;
  • Have junior or senior standing;
  • Have taken, or currently be enrolled in, at least one HRM functional course beyond HRM 360 and HRM 361 (e.g. HRM 300- or 400- level course);
  • Demonstrate an interest in HR as a profession (e.g., through an HR internship, participation in the HRM Job Shadow Program, an HR job, student membership in PIHRA or SHRM, member or leader of HRMA).

  1. Eligibility Criteria
