Cedric Anderson Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Professor Cedric Anderson to assist students enrolled in the Education Specialist Credential Advanced Field Study & Seminar sequences. Two scholarships per semester will be awarded each year to EDSP Student Teachers for the duration of the pledge. Eligible students will: 1) Be admitted to the Education Specialist Program, 2) Be enrolled in one of two Education Specialist Credential Advanced Field Study and Seminar sequences (587A/B Mild/Moderate Disabilities or 588A/B Moderate/Severe Disabilities) in the academic year in which they receive the scholarship, 3) May take the A/B courses sequentially or concurrently, and 4) Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher. Students may receive support for one or both semesters.

Criteria:

  • Be admitted to the Education Specialist Program
  • Be enrolled in either Specialist Credential Advanced Field Study and Seminar (587A/B Mild/Moderate Disabilities or 588A/B Moderate/Severe Disabilities) in the academic year in which the person receives the scholarship
  • A/B courses can be taken sequentially or concurrently
  • Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
