Annemarie Pellerito Scholarship

Annemarie Pellerito died in 2003 at the age of 29 after a lifetime battle with neurofibromatosis, a debilitating genetic neurological disorder. As a tribute to her, the Annemarie Pellerito Scholarship was established to be awarded to CSULB students who have personal experience with or a professional interest in assisting individuals and their families who are affected by chronic life threatening diseases. One (1) scholarship ($3,500) will be awarded to an outstanding undergraduate or graduate student.

Criteria:
• Major in the College of Health and Human Services.
• Completed at least 75 units at the undergraduate level or completed at least one semester in a graduate program.
• Good standing with the University.
• Minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA.
• Have personal experience with or a professional interest in assisting individuals and their families who are affected by chronic life-threatening diseases.
