McAbee-Overstreet Graduate Research Award

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers on a competitive basis the McAbee-Overstreet Graduate Research Scholarship of $2,500 to a qualified student in the MS chemistry or MS Biochemistry program. This award is to recognize a graduate student for his/her excellence in scholarship and commitment to research in chemistry or biochemistry.

Criteria:

  • Minimum graduate cumulative GPA of 3.2
  • Advancement to candidacy in the MS Chemistry or MS Biochemistry program
  • Continuing graduate student
