The Dorothy Benveniste Endowed Student Award

The Dorothy Benveniste Endowed Student Award is established as an enduring legacy by a donor who has generously given her time and resources to benefit students from under-served populations or underrepresented in engineering education or professions. The purpose of the student award is to provide financial aid support to students who have completed the BESST (Beach Engineering Student Success Team) program.

Criteria:

• Must demonstrate financial need;
• CSULB combined cum GPA 2.5 or higher;
• any undergraduate major within the College of Engineering;
• Class standing at the time of application – Sophomore, Junior or Senior;
• enrolled full-time (12 or more units);
• students must reapply to receive the scholarship for renewal;
• student has completed the BESST program.
