Drs. Charles and Tracy Maples CECS Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was founded by Drs. Charles and Tracy Maples. Dr. Tracy Maples has had a lifelong passion for supporting future engineers and computer scientists, especially encouraging women to enter the field. Her career at CSULB has spanned from CECS faculty member, Associate Dean as well as Interim Dean of the College of Engineering. This scholarship is designed to support College of Engineering students who are pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

Criteria:

• Minimum Unit Load: full-time (12 units)
• Minimum GPA: 3.25 cumulative GPA
• Student Level/Program: undergraduate
• Major/Program Requirement: Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Must have completed the first year of Beach Engineering Student Success Program (BESST)
• Active participate in Women in Computing program and/or Society of Women in Engineering
