Desiree Santos & Olivia Brennan Endowed Student Award

Established by alumna Debra Brennan Santos ‘83, the Desiree Santos & Olivia Brennan Endowed Student Award reflects her dedication to fostering the next generation of engineers. With a distinguished career in the aerospace industry, Debra’s commitment to fostering womens’ success in leadership roles has been a hallmark of her professional journey. The student award is named in honor of her beloved daughters, who are a significant part of her life’s purpose and legacy.

Criteria:

  • Minimum Unit Load: full-time (12 units)
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Student Level/Program: undergraduate, must be a junior or a senior at the time of application.
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Major/Program Requirement: any majors within College of Engineering
  • Student must be an active member of a campus club or organization that supports women engineering students, including but not limited to the Society of Women Engineering (SWE) and Women in Computing (WiC).
