Gerald Locklin Endowed Scholarship
To provide an award for a student studying any major at CSULB.
Criteria:
- Must be a Full-time Undergraduate, Graduate, or GS700 Student;
- Must me pursuing a major or minor in English;
- Must submit one piece of writing which may be either three poems, a short story or an essay;
- Must visit the Gerald Locklin collection which is located in special collections (https://csulb.libguides.com/specialcollections), and write a brief essay describing or critiquing a book of the applicant’s choosing.
Additional Scholarship Information:
- The recipient of the scholarship must consult, research or at least visit the CSULB Special Collections, which houses the Gerald Locklin collection, and certify in a manner acceptable to the committee
