Sandy Salemi Cangiano Endowed Scholarship
To provide a scholarship to support a student majoring in Italian/ Italian studies OR a study-abroad student currently in CSULB coursework (ITAL 494) in Italy.
Criteria:
- Must be an Italian Studies Majors and/or travel expenses associated with students studying abroad enrolled in CSULB coursework (ITA 494) in Italy;
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student;
- Must be a continuing student;
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher;
- Must demonstrate financial need.
Additional Scholarship Information:
- PRIORITY will be given to those students who have not received a scholarship from the Romance, German, Russian Languages and Literature (RGLL) department over the past two years, but all are encouraged to apply
- PRIORITY given to Majors and Minors in RGRLL
- STUDENTS must be enrolled and have a GPA 3.0 or higher (unless otherwise specified in the scholarship details)
- STUDENTS must have completed a minimum of one full semester at CSULB before being eligible for an award
- Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Chair of the Graziadio Center for Italian Studies
