Latinx Student Union Undocu 5K Scholarship

Born out of the political urgency to support undocumented students, Breaking Fronteras Undocu5k is a 5K that raises funds to provide scholarships to students. The Breaking Fronteras Undocu5k was created by Latinx Student Union, composed of all student Latinx organizations at California State University, Long Beach. Migration is beautiful and education is priceless. We envision an event that brings together the community to resist in spite of a presidential administration that aimed to destabilize the future of undocumented students on campus and the community at large.

Criteria:

• Enrolled in at least 6 units Undergraduate; 4 units Graduate; 3 units Doctorate
• Must demonstrate financial need
• Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA for Undergraduate students and minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA for Graduate/Doctorate students
• Must be AB 540 and involved with an organization affiliated with the Latinx Student Union (LSU) or Latinx Resource Center
• GS700 students eligible
