Biomedical Engineering Excellence Scholarship

Dr. Siavash Ahrar, Assistant Professor in the CSULB Department of Biomedical Engineering since Fall 2020, brings a rich academic and professional background to the field. He has earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and has extensive experience as a postdoctoral researcher and an education fellow at prestigious institutions. Dr. Ahrar is deeply committed to fostering inclusivity and accessibility in biomedical engineering education. Scholarships are designed to support all educationally related expenses for a CSULB student completing their educational pursuits.

Criteria:

• CSULB Combined Cumulative GPA 2.5-3.75;
• Undergraduate students majoring in Biomedical Engineering;
• Class standing at the time of application-Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior;
• Enrolled full-time 12 units or more.
