Port of Long Beach College of Engineering

The Port of Long Beach created this annual scholarship in the College of Engineering to support students studying Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering management with an interest in a career in the port environment.

Criteria:

• Must have minimum GPA 3.0;
• Must be an undergraduate Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior;
• Must be majoring in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Management;
• Must be enrolled full-time;
• Must have career interest in Port Operations;
• Must not be an employee or intern at the Port of Long Beach or a member of the immediate family of anyone connected with Port of Long Beach;
• Scholarship recipients are encouraged to cooperate with the Port of Long Beach regarding publicity for being a scholarship recipient and attend an event in the spring.
