Project Resilience Internship Scholarship

Project Resilience is a program funded by the Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISI) grant. Project Resilience’s mission is to uplift Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI), and low-income students. This is done by improving retention and graduation rates while focusing on holistically increasing mental health and wellness. Funded by the US Department of Education AANAPISI Award #P382B210042

Program Qualifications:

  • Must be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the United States. Citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of Palau are also eligible to apply;
  • Current undergraduate student enrolled in CSULB;
  • The scholarship is open to students who are first-generation, low-income, and/or Asian American Native Hawaiian and/or Pacific Islander identifying;
  • Student is completing an unpaid internship;
  • Student is enrolled in an internship course or agrees to complete professional development workshops and events with Career Development Center;
  • Passionate about working with organizations to make positive change in their communities;
  • Desire to learn new skills and explore career options.

Applications will remain open until all scholarships have been awarded. First priority will be given based on time of submission.
