James Stephenson Endowed Scholarship

The James Stephenson Scholarship will be awarded to Science majors with a verified learning disability or ADHD on file at the Bob Murphy Access Center (BMAC) and demonstrated financial need. The intent of the scholarship is to assist talented students who have the added challenge of overcoming learning and financial disadvantages.

Criteria:
*Must receive services from BMAC for a verified learning disability or ADHD;
*Declare a major or pre-major in the Natural Sciences with preference given to Biological Sciences majors;
*Are undergraduate juniors and continuing seniors enrolled full-time, or graduate students enrolled in GS700 at a minimum. Preference will be given to undergraduate students;
*Demonstrate financial need;
*Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in their majors;

  • Are U.S. Citizens

Additional Scholarships Information:
This scholarship is renewable for prior recipients if the recipient continues to meet all the criteria listed above.
