Manuel Perez Success Internship Scholarship

Manuel Perez was formerly the Director of the CSULB Career Development Center and past Vice President of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). He has dedicated his career of over 34 years to public service in higher education and is a strong advocate for students. Manuel Perez strongly believes in the benefits of internships as a career preparation and success tool for students. This scholarship honors his legacy helping to break barriers to provide employment opportunities to all students.
The Manuel Perez Internship Success Scholarship assists students exploring a career via an unpaid internship in the non-profit or government fields.
Do you have an internship offer for Summer 2022? Is your internship unpaid and at a non-profit or government organization?
If so, apply for the opportunity to win $1,000.

Participant Eligibility:
• Must be currently enrolled at CSULB
• Must be in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher)
• Graduation date must be December 2022 or later
• Must have secured an unpaid internship in the non-profit or government fields prior to applying for the Manuel Perez Internship Success Scholarship
• 120 hours of internship must be completed between May -August 2022

To Enter the Contest:
1. Sign into SSO to access CareerLINK
2. Click on “Interview Practice / Big Interview” on the right under “Online Tools”
1. If this is your first time using Big Interview, click “Register” in the top right corner to set up your account using your CSULB email address
2. Register using your CSULB email address
3. In Big Interview, select the “Assignments” tab and enter the following code: 9f88f4
2. Follow instructions to record your responses to the questions provided in Big Interview.
