W. David Sievers

The W. David Sievers Memorial Award in Acting was established by Lucy Sievers in memory of her husband. W. David Sievers was a noted director, author, actor, and professor of drama at CSULB. Mr. Sievers was the very first professor of drama at CSULB. Lucy Sievers continued to actively support the scholarship until her passing in 2007. Two of Mr. and Mrs. Sievers’ children are CSULB alumni.
