Friends of the Leisure World Library
Located in the Seal Beach Leisure World, The Friends of the Leisure World Library are volunteers who are interested in promoting the library to the community, enriching resources and sponsoring cultural programs. The Friends of the Library provide additional fundraising efforts to supplement Golden Rain Foundation’s funding of the Leisure World Library. Bargains can be found at the Friends of the Library used bookstore; there are a variety of hardbacks, paperbacks, and other items for purchase.
The Leisure World Library offers a wealth of selection, with a collection of well over 30,000 titles. Included are the latest best sellers and new movie releases as well as a Large Print, Newspaper, Periodicals, Audio Books, and more. They have 8 computers for patrons to use with printing capabilities.

Impact
Friends of the Leisure World Library in Seal Beach created this scholarship to support the Library Media Program. It is awarded to exemplary students who possess a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher and intend to pursue careers as library media specialists.
