Frank Gossette
The Frank Gossette Scholarship Fund was established to honor the career of Dr. Franklin Gossette, CSULB Professor of Geography from 1985 to 2009 and now Professor Emeritus. The scholarship was established in recognition of Dr. Gossette for his contributions to the field of GeoSpatial Science, including establishing the foundation for our strong GIScience program in Geography at CSULB. Dr. Gossette has been a strong supporter of student research and instrumental in connecting students with applied internships in city planning across Southern California. He is also a cultural geographer with interests in Asian studies, viticulture, and is fluent in Mandarin. This scholarship supports geographic research at the graduate level.
