Earl H. and Grace Jackson

Grace Yarutis Jackson was born on August 7th, 1922 and passed away on March 17, 2009. She was admitted to CSULB in 1965 as a junior majoring in A.B., English. Earl Jackson worked at Douglas Aircraft in the reprographics department in the 1970’s.

The College of Education (CED) expresses gratitude to all scholarship donors who continue to enhance the quality of education students experience at CSULB.

Impact

Long time Long Beach residents and educators, Earl and Grace Jackson established this scholarship in 1997 which supports students preparing for the teaching profession: elementary education, secondary education, and credential students.This scholarship is awarded to outstanding students in the Liberal Studies – Integrated Teacher Education Program, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Program, or Single Subject Teaching Credential Program who wish to pursue teaching careers.
