Carole Eichen

Carole Eichen

The Carole Eichen Endowed Scholarship was created in 2003 in her memory by her husband, Robert Passovoy. Carole was an interior designer with a very successful firm based in Santa Ana, California. She pioneered the use of targeted interior design in model homes as a marketing and sales technique. Ms. Eichen won several design and marketing awards over the course of her career. She was the first non-builder inducted into the California Building Industry Hall of Fame. Carole was committed to community service. She established a design program at UCLA, provided scholarship support to UCLA, designed Safe Places shelters for battered women in Orange County, and created “dream rooms” for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
